Welcome to the Bill and Ed's Home on the 'Net!
O. Bill Manflingo and Ed deMarco-Polo are Bill and Ed
Who are Bill and Ed, you ask? Bill and Ed are two happenin' old guys who happen to have their own groovy TV show.
Osito William Angus King Wilbur Manflingo
Bill, 85, was a rich, rich man until he got engaged to a girl named April. Bill gave her a blank check to go to the store and buy groceries with and she stole all of his money and ran off to Canada with some trucker named Biff!
Bill was born and raised on the coast of Maine. He made it to 7th grade before he dropped out to become a lobster fisherman. He was successful with that for ten years, until his lobster-canoe sunk. Bill, then 23, was out of luck. He had no job, no money and no place to live (he'd been living in his canoe to save on rent).
He decided to go to New York City to pursue an acting career. After six long years of grueling off-Broadway productions Bill was burnt out. He went on a vacation to Atlantic City, for a change of scenery and met Louise Gaude who was then working as a showgirl at one of the clubs.
After three years of dating, the two were married on Isle Au Haut off the coast of Maine.
Two years later their daughter Elaine was born, and the happy family moved to New Mexico so Bill could have a cactus farm.
They lived there for about twenty years, until Bill's llama supply store went out of business. They decided to move back to Maine to be closer to Louise's family.
Bill then met Grampa, a man who helped him land his first TV show. Grampa introduced Bill to Marvin Stimpleton and before they knew it, they had their own variety show!
The "Bill and Marvin Show" lasted 8 seasons before it was canceled in 1977. The next year, Bill met Ed deMarco-Polo at a barbecue and they made plans for a new TV show, called "The Bill and Ed Show".
Two years later, Louise suffered a major heart attack, and sadly, passed away. That same year Bill met April Summer and fell in love. The two were soon engaged. They had a wedding all planned, until the day she ran off with Bill's fortune and Biff a Mexican-Canadian truck driver.
Bill was devastated, but kept himself busy from then until the present working on the Bill and Ed show.

Ed, 83, has two kids named Fred (35) and Martha (29) with his lovely wife of 67 years, Maude. Ed dropped out of school in the 8th grade, after the tragic death of his pet llama Pete.
When he was 16 he met and married Maude Gaude in a romantic Las Vegas ceremony. The two lived in Vegas for 2 years after the wedding, while Ed worked as a car dealer and Maude was a showgirl.
After being fired for "stealing", Ed and Maude packed up and moved to northern California. Ed then got a job as a school bus driver. Ed lost that job too, after totaling 5 buses.
Next, they moved to Colorado. On a seemingly quiet visit to the park, Ed and Maude were attacked by a giant bear! Both suffered major injuries. Ed received a broken collar bone after being thrown 30 feet! Maude also had deep scratches on her arms and face.
So they moved to South Carolina. Both Martha and Fred were born in South Carolina. But after a hurricane threat the deMarco-Polo family moved to the Bronx. Ed's TV career got started when he starred in a Preparation H commercial.
They all moved to Maine, where Maude's family lived and one day at a barbecue, Ed met Bill. They hit it off immediately and were talking about how crappy TV was and decided to make their own show.
So there you have it! The story of Bill and Ed!
